How to submit a copyright infringement notice or counter-notice.

Submitting a notice

If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, send a written notice to [email protected] containing all of the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  3. The URL of the specific material on this site you say is infringing, precise enough for us to locate it.
  4. Your address, telephone number and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.

An incomplete notice may delay our response. Please do not omit the specific URL. A notice that identifies the site as a whole cannot be acted on.

What happens next

On receipt of a valid notice we will remove or disable access to the material, usually within a few business days, and notify the person who posted it where that is applicable.

Counter-notice

If you believe material was removed in error or through misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to [email protected] containing:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material removed and the location it appeared at before removal.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts where you are located, and that you will accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice.

We may restore the material after 10 business days unless we are notified that court proceedings have been filed.

Misrepresentation

Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a notice or counter-notice carries liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). Please be sure of your position before filing.

Repeat infringers

We terminate access for repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
